Andrea Fredella nee Bagordo

Paediatric Physiotherapist & Co-Director

Andrea is the owner and principal of Ohana Physiotherapy.
Andrea is an AHPRA registered physiotherapist, Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) member and on the board of the APA Paediatric Special Interest Group.

  • Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in Gold Coast, Queensland, AUS
  • Bachelor in Kinesiology Health and Human Performance at Saint Mary’s College of California, USA

Andrea completed her Physiotherapy degree with overall First in Class Honours, Dux award and a published research article.

Andrea works exclusively with the paediatric population and primarily in NDIS early intervention. She has also held roles in public health in multidisciplinary child development teams and private practice paediatrics amongst other highly experienced therapists.

Andrea has a special interest in early intervention (0-7 years).

Andrea has done extensive professional development in paediatrics and continues to do so frequently.

  • Child development, hyper-mobility, gait and orthoses, toe walking/gait abnormalities, aquatic physiotherapy (hydrotherapy), assistive technology prescription and many more.

Andrea is originally from the United States and has travelled a bit before settling in the sunny Gold Coast.

Andrea is a bubbly, passionate and enthusiastic therapist who values being a long lasting and positive contribution to her patient’s lives.
Andrea is also a qualified mat and reformer Pilates instructor.

When not at work, you can find Andrea walking with a coffee on the beach or exploring new markets on the weekends.

Mattia Fredella

Senior Physiotherapist & Co-Director

Mattia is an AHPRA registered physiotherapist, qualified both in Australia and Europe.

He completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Italy and a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in Australia.

  • Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in Gold Coast, Queensland, AUS

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Italy

Mattia graduated with honours from both of his degrees and gained international work experience in Europe, UK and USA.

Mattia is experienced in adolescent and adult physiotherapy including musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation.

He is very passionate about sports and loves to integrate fun sporting activities in his sessions where possible.

When not at work, you can find Mattia on a soccer field, surfing along the Gold Coast, at Bunnings or eating 3 full pizzas to himself.

Soraya Partridge nee LeMarshall


Soraya is an AHPRA registered physiotherapist and an Australia Physiotherapy Association (APA) member.

  • Doctor of Physiotherapy from Bond University in Gold Coast, Queensland, AUS
  • Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University in Gold Coast, Queensland, AUS

Soraya completed her Physiotherapy degree with overall First in Class Honours, and a published research article.

Soraya has a special interest in the paediatric population and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She has worked with the paediatric population in the form of gymnastic coaching for over ten years and has brought that experience into her physiotherapy career.

Soraya dedicates time towards continual professional development to further her skills and knowledge.

She is passionate about working with parents and children to create a well-rounded treatment plan and encourages education and early intervention for best results.

Soraya has represented her country twice as an Aerobic Gymnast, once in America, and once in New Zealand. Soraya’s sporting background is what drove her to become a Physiotherapist.

When not at work, you can find Soraya spending time with family and friends, enjoying an acai bowl on the beach, or taking her dog for a walk.

Rachael Fogarty


Rachael completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at Griffith University.

Rachael is a warm, caring and hard-working therapist that has a keen interest in complex neurological conditions and neurodivergencies in both children and adults.

She graduated from Griffith University and gained valuable experience in the disability sector, where she worked as a support worker and physiotherapy assistant throughout her studies. 

Rachael is passionate about the benefits of community physio and believes that combining fun and health is the recipe for success.

She’s convinced that you never stop learning and loves being able to help others achieve their goals. 

Rachael was born in Perth but grew up on the Gold Coast from a young age and can’t imagine being anywhere else.

She loves challenging her mind with puzzles and craft, and enjoys all kinds of performing arts. 

Teneille Allen

Physiotherapy / Allied Health Assistant (AHA)

Teneille is a physiotherapy student studying at Griffith University. 

  • Student of Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Griffith University in Gold Coast, Queensland, AUS 

Teneille has over 3 years of experience as a Swim Instructor as well as continuous involvement in Surf Life Saving.

Teneille is originally from Brisbane. Her passion for Physiotherapy developed from her involvement in team sports and competitive swimming.


Practice Manager

Chanelle is a highly experienced administration manager for Ohana Physiotherapy.

With her experience, attention to detail and understanding approach, Chanelle provides exceptional support to the Ohana Team and to our clients, assisting in all areas of enquiries, scheduling and billing.

  • Bachelor of Arts with majors in Sociology and Communication and Cultural Studies, Central Queensland University, Rockhampton, QLD, AUS

Chanelle has over 25 years in the health care industry. With a diverse background spanning research, service and workforce development and project management, Chanelle has played a pivotal role in delivering crucial services and support to health care practitioners, patients, families and service providers. Her contributions have left an indelible mark across various communities and settings, showcasing her adaptability and versatility in addressing unique needs of different populations.

Chanelle has worked across diverse health care settings including hospitals, general practice, workforce development, community and allied health which has equipped her with a holistic perspective on health care. She is particularly dedicated to empowering health care professionals to deliver quality, responsive and accessible health care services.

Chanelle grew up in Bundaberg, QLD but since graduating from university and meeting her husband has moved extensively throughout Queensland and New South Wales which has given her exposure to different work experiences, lifestyles and communities.

Chanelle has settled in Northern NSW with her husband, three teenage children and two cheeky cocker spaniels Ralph and Rose.

Chanelle enjoys spending time with her family and dogs at the beach, traveling, eating out and yoga.
