Telehealth Consultations

We are now offering Telehealth Consultations! Our Telehealth services are available to both local and regional clients, providing flexibility for those with busy schedules and for those living in remote areas. You can now enjoy the convenience and privacy of being in your own home during the appointment.

Much like our in-person sessions, these appointments include in-depth discussion about the condition, demonstrations of movements and other tests, all while being monitored and directed by our team of Physiotherapists on screen, followed by discussion of assessment, advice, and education about the condition. Parents and caregivers will have a more hands-on role and assist with movements. Your physiotherapist will provide a summary of the appointment, a treatment/ exercise plan and examples of exercises to complete between sessions.

Body Orthoses

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system, which includes bones, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and other connective tissues.

The goal is to help individuals reduce pain, regain their strength, mobility and function, and prevent future problems from occurring.
The ultimate aim is to improve the individual’s quality of life and enable them to lead an active and pain-free lifestyle. Some of the conditions commonly treated by our physiotherapists include:

Sports Physiotherapy

Sports physiotherapy is a specialized area of physiotherapy that focuses on treating injuries related to sports. Despite our bodies being similar, athletes often require a different approach when it comes to injury management due to the higher demands placed on their bodies, resulting in added stress to muscles, tendons, bones and joints.

Individuals of all levels of fitness, from fitness enthusiasts to athletes, can access sports physiotherapy services.

Whether you’ve sustained an injury while lifting weights at the gym or while playing sports, our physiotherapists are available to assist you.

Strength & Conditioning

Our Strength and conditioning services are designed to help individuals achieve their fitness goals while minimizing the risk of injury. These services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual and may include a combination of strength training, conditioning exercises, and functional movements. The main goal is to improve overall fitness levels, enhance performance, and reduce the risk of future injuries.

During the initial assessment, our physiotherapists will evaluate an individual’s current fitness level and identify any underlying conditions or previous injuries that may impact their training. From there, they will use this information to create a personalized strength and conditioning exercise program.

The exercises can be performed in a location that suits the individual’s specific requirements and circumstances, and may involve the use of diverse equipment, such as at-home fitness gear or a nearby gym.

Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological rehabilitation is a specialized service that aims to help individuals recover from neurological injuries such as a stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or other neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease or Multiple Sclerosis. The main goal of neurological rehabilitation is to improve the individual’s quality of life by enhancing their mobility, balance, coordination, and strength.

During the initial assessment, a physiotherapist will evaluate the individual’s neurological function and develop a customized rehabilitation program to address the unique needs of each individual, promoting long-term recovery and improved quality of life.

The program may include a combination of exercises, activities, and techniques designed to stimulate the nervous system and promote functional recovery. These exercises may include balance training, gait training, motor coordination activities, and strength training. With regular sessions and a commitment to the program, individuals can experience significant improvements in their physical and neurological function, allowing them to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Pre- And Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

Pre and post-surgical rehabilitation are an important part of the recovery process for individuals undergoing surgery.

The goal of pre-surgical rehabilitation is to prepare the body for surgery and educate the client on what to expect during the surgical and recovery process, while post-surgical rehabilitation helps to facilitate a full and speedy recovery.

These programs may involve a combination of exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques designed to reduce pain and inflammation, increase range of motion and improve strength to help individuals regain their mobility, strength, and function as quickly and safely as possible.

We work collaboratively with many surgeons in the Gold Coast region and have experience treating a wide variety of surgical conditions such as:
