Paediatric Physiotherapy

With extensive knowledge of NDIS regulations, our paediatric physiotherapists work with infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents to assess, diagnose, and treat movement and developmental difficulties or delays.

Paediatric physiotherapy has a focus on gross motor development and our physiotherapists will conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine a child’s strengths and weaknesses and provide guidance on the most effective ways to enhance body strength and coordination, achieve developmental milestones, improve body awareness and confidence to help children develop their physical abilities and achieve their full potential.

Collaborating with the child’s family, we establish achievable goals and work together to promote the child’s physical development and improve their range of motion, strength, balance, and coordination.

Additionally, we work alongside key-workers, support coordinators and NDIS local area coordinators (LAC) as well as other allied health providers such as Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists or medical professionals such as paediatricians and neurologists to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to your child’s care.
